Helping Teens Thrive – Not Just ‘Get Through’ the Holidays
Unbordz was founded by Kay Haslam, a parent of two teenage sons who saw a gap in local holiday childcare options for secondary school-aged children. While many clubs cater to younger kids, teens are often left with little to do, too much screen time, and not enough safe, engaging environments to enjoy their break.
Kay created Unbordz to provide structured, inclusive, and fun activities for 12–16 year olds in Cranbrook and Exeter—a space where young people can connect, grow, and enjoy their time off in meaningful ways.
Our Mission
To keep teens active, safe, and social during school holidays through creative, physical, and confidence-building activities tailored to their age and interests.
What Makes Us Different?
- ✅ Teen-focused: We get what makes 12–16 year olds tick—and we design sessions they’ll actually want to join.
- ✅ Parent peace-of-mind: Safe, supervised full-day care you can rely on.
- ✅ Inclusive environment: We welcome all young people, including those with special educational needs.
- ✅ Local and affordable: Based right here in Cranbrook, we keep costs fair and accessibility high.
